This program provides primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and registered nurses with an update on geriatric problems. Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to: Discuss the essentials of diagnosing and managing Mild Cognitive Impairment, Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease Discuss cardiovascular, vascular, and urological problems Perform a functional assessment of the elderly patient Explain quality-of-life issues, including depression and alcoholism Diagnose and manage various rheumatologic and musculoskeletal problems Determine the role of pain management
