Training: Special skills per sub-specialty area, all candidates expected to be proficient in general Neurology.

Caseload Averages: 12-18 patients per day

Office: 4 ½ days in office per week. (Clinic closed @ 12 Noon Friday?s)

Call Rotation: 1 in 4, we generally take one week at a time with coverage for afternoon/evening off.

Salary Range: Guaranteed minimum of $230,000. Signing bonus of $15,000.

Residency/ Fellowship preferences: U.S. Residency, Fellowship training a plus, but not required.

Number of existing physicians in specialty: 2 Clinic, 1 independent.

Description of Practice environment (number of patient rooms, staff compliment, equipment available): 2 exam rooms and 1 private office per physician, 2 EMG machines, EEG lab with AEEG, full evoked potentials done in office, CT and MRI at facility, full time research center with phase 2-4 research protocols (we are a national research network), Neurosurgery available in the community. Clinic-based Pain Management services.

Description of Hospital environment (as it applies to your specialty): Hospital has TCD which we interpret, new ICU, Neuroradiology with arteriography, CT, MRI, dopplers, Neurology interprets EEG, AEEG, TCD, Tilt tables, aggressive in-house protocol for stroke team and TPA.
