Takao M et al. – There was a lower incidence of osteonecrosis of the hip and knee in renal allograft recipients treated with cyclosporin or tacrolimus. In the patients treated with improved immunosuppressive regimens, delayed graft function was a significant early predictor of osteonecrosis.
