Mota A – It emphasises the importance of tailoring treatment to the individual patient, especially in cases such as hypersensitised and black patients, retransplants and poor compatibilities, which have a higher risk of acute rejection. A review of the literature and our own experience have enabled us to construct a set of practical rules to help achieve the best possible immunosuppressive regime for each patient.
