Giant Renal Oncocytoma
Radiology Case Reports, 09/28/09
Shakarchi JA et al. – The authors present the case of a 70–year–old male who presented with a large lesion in the right kidney, which was noticed on ultrasonography. CT confirmed the large tumor, and both clinical and radiological findings raised suspicion of a renal cell carcinoma. Surprisingly, histological examination showed it to be a giant oncoytoma.
