Barquiel B et al. – A 60–year–old man was diagnosed with retroperitoneal fibrosis. The patient developed obstructive nephropathy secondary to bilateral encasing of the ureters. Early diagnosis and combined therapy with corticosteroids and ureteral stents led to clinical and radiological remission of the disease.
