Menon S et al. - Children followed in a multidisciplinary clinic have better outcome variables and are more likely to achieve K/DOQI targets at initiation of dialysis. They are better prepared for dialysis with electively planned catheter insertion or functioning arteriovenous grafts/fistulae.
