Kurth T et al. - In this large cohort of women, a glomerular filtration rate <60 ml/min/1.73 m2 was associated with increased risk of cardiovascular disease death but not other cardiovascular disease events or non-cardiovascular disease mortality. The authors observed no increase in risk of any of the outcomes among women with less severe impairment of kidney function.
