Arteriovenous fistula in an autotransplanted kidney segment: Successful angiographic management
Scandinavian Journal of Urology and Nephrology, 06/30/09
Jonsson E et al. - Autotransplantation is a management option in complex renal or ureteral diseases. This report describes a case of bilateral renal cell carcinoma treated with partial nephrectomy using bench surgery followed by a contralateral total nephrectomy. This procedure was complicated by an arteriovenous fistula in the transplanted segment that was successively embolized angiographically.
