Shock Wave Lithotripsy Versus Semirigid Ureteroscopy for Proximal Ureteral Calculi (<20 mm): A Comparative Matched-pair Study
Urology, 06/30/09
Youssef RF et al. - SWL and semirigid URS are highly effective in the treatment of proximal ureteral stones <20 mm. The results of the study showed that SWL was safer and less invasive, but that URS was more effective and resulted in a lower retreatment rate.
