Fernandez-Fresnedo G et al. - Kidney transplantation is the treatment of choice for patients with end-stage renal disease. Despite improvements in short-term patient and graft outcomes, there has been no major improvement in long-term outcomes. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors. The findings of this study may have an impact on the management of renal transplant recipients.
