Rocha E et al. - This study aimed to evaluate and compare the characteristics and outcomes of patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) with those of matched controls of patients with c (AKI) requiring renal replacement therapy. ESRD patients with life-threatening complications had significantly better outcome than AKI patients.
