Chapelle T et al. - Directly after the renal transplantation, parathyroid transplantation was performed, with implantation in the forearm of the total amount of donor parathyroid tissue. Postoperatively, there was recovery of parathyroid function, and the patient was able to discontinue vitamin D and calcium supplements after more than 20 years.
