Qayyum A et al. - We observed that class IV LN was the most common class with 19 of 34 female cases showing this lesion.
Majority of our patients with mesangial lesions had some clinical evidence of renal disease, including elevated serum creatinine levels. One patient with class III lesion had no clinical evidence of renal disease but had significant findings on biopsy. Biopsy certainly helps to identify patients at risk of developing progressive renal disease.
