Coelho, G., et al. - The clinical implication of our study is that infants with prenatal hydronephrosis have a high risk of UTI despite antibiotic prophylaxis, especially in the first 2 years of life. Girls with a urinary tract anomaly had a higher risk of UTI, and, thus, in this subgroup of patients careful clinical followup must be considered in addition to antibiotic prophylaxis
