Pulsatile Pump Decreases Risk of Delayed Graft Function in Kidneys Donated After Cardiac Death
American Journal of Transplantation, 07/27/2012
Lodhi SA et al. – Even though suggestive for a benefit of pulsatile perfusion (PP) on delayed graft function, this retrospective analysis cannot address whether this is an intrinsic effect of PP or is associated with the logistics of PP such as discard of donation after cardiac death kidneys based on pump parameters.
