Shinn JB et al. – Vascular loop syndrome (VLS) is an uncommon and controversial diagnosis that involves cranial nerve dysfunction as a result of compression by an anomalous vessel loop. This phenomenon has been labeled as the etiology of multiple clinical disorders associated with cranial nerve dysfunction.
