Lidder S – Many junior surgical trainees find it difficult to gain sufficient experience in operative techniques because of the restructuring of working days following the introduction of the European Working Time Directive. The trauma courses with cadaver dissections, run by the AO Foundation, offer a great opportunity for trainees.
