Thakore H – Medical education in Ireland has undergone significant recent reform. The entire continuum from undergraduate, postgraduate and independent practitioner has been included in this reform process. This article looks at these changes within the Irish medical education system and what impact these changes are likely to have on the future training and practice of medicine within the country.
