Mehta C et al. - The course was definitely worth while if not essential for our general practice training. It was well organised, the sessions ran smoothly, pre-course materials were emailed in sufficient time, and the trainers were friendly and approachable. The course organisers believe that sexual and reproductive health matters are managed less well than other problems because of the stigma surrounding them, and many doctors lack confidence in dealing with these issues. We believe that our knowledge and confidence in this area has improved, and we feel more able to talk to patients about these problems.
