Sattur S et al. – In this study of ST–segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients, drug–eluting stents (DES) implantation was safer than bare metal stent (BMS) implantation and was associated with lower major adverse cardiac event (MACE) at long–term follow–up.
