Knee laxity after staircase exercise predicts radiographic disease progression in medial compartment knee osteoarthritis
Arthritis & Rheumatism, 08/10/2012
Miyazaki T et al. – The results indicate that patients with osteoarthritis (OA) progression have significantly larger changes in knee joint laxity during physical activities and a larger BMI than patients without OA progression. The results suggest larger changes in knee laxity during repetitive physical activities and a higher BMI play a significant role in the progression of knee OA.
