Yamaki T et al. – Lipid volume measured by multi–detector row computed tomography was moderately correlated with that measured by integrated backscatter intravascular ultrasound. Multi–detector row computed tomography may be useful for volumetric assessment of the lipid volume of coronary plaques, whereas the assessment of fibrosis volume was unstable.
