Biomechanical response of lamina cribrosa and prelaminar tissue to an acute induced IOP elevati
Acta Ophthalmologica, 08/21/2012
Gizzi C et al. – The study shows that an acute induced elevation of IOP does not induce a detectable movement of the lamina cribrosa anterior surface both in glaucomatous and healthy eyes. On the other hand the displacement of the prelaminar tissue is lower in patients with primary open angle glaucoma (POAG) than in controls.
