Sonographic Diagnosis of Juvenile Polyps in Children
Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology, 07/05/2012
Zhang Y et al. – The color Doppler showed abundant blood flow signals within all polyps and pedicles in a shape of a branch or an umbrella. For seven children with an intussusception, the polyp shadow was detected in the cervical part or interior of the intussusception. Ultrasonography is, thus, considered to be a feasible method for diagnosing intestinal juvenile polyp.
