Iwase T et al. – The present study showed encouraging mid–term results of impaction bone grafting for femoral revision arthroplasty by experienced surgeons in Japan. Aggressive augmentation of segmental defects and attenuated femoral shafts prevents massive stem subsidence and periprosthetic fracture.
