Portal Hypertensive Enteropathy in Small-Bowel Capsule Endoscopy

Koulaouzidis A et al. – A 41–year–old woman, with a long history of alcoholic liver disease, underwent a small–bowel capsule endoscopy (SBCE) to investigate her recurrent and severe anemia. Prior bidirectional endoscopy had failed to reveal anything more than mild portal hypertensive gastropathy.
