Mekinian A et al. – Despite the presence of antiphospholipid antibodies (APL) in children, thrombosis or systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) were not observed. The presence of neurodevelopmental abnormalities seems to be more important in these children, and could justify long–term follow–up.
