Abeysundara PK et al. – Histology revealed xanthogranulomatous salpingitis and oophoritis. Chronic inflammation due to inadequate treatment of bacterial infection, coupled with pelvic endometriosis and uterine leiomyoma may have led to xanthogranulomatous salpingitis and oophoritis.
