Ito T et al. – The authors present here a Japanese woman with AA showing recurrence of splenic abscesses, ileocolitis, pyoderma gangrenosum, and arthritis. Although both steroid therapy and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)–alpha blockade were effective, relapses remained frequent.
