Jongerden IP et al. – Changes in heart rate (HR), mean arterial pressure (MAP), and peripheral oxygen saturation (Spo2) were comparable and mild during and after closed suction systems (CSSs) and open suction systems (OSSs). Both systems can be considered equally safe.
