>Summary: The purpose of this review was to investigate the possibility of thiazolidinedione agents having vasculoprotective effects and if so whether these are associated with the prevention of cardiovascular disease.
Outcomes: The weight of the experimental, subclinical and clinical assessments of the effects of these agents supports the contention that they are vasculoprotective.
