We kindly invite you to join us in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for the World Allergy Organization’s biennial World Allergy Congress (WAC), 6 – 10 December, 2009.
The WAC is the most exciting international congress gathering allergists and other related specialties from all over the world. You’ll learn about new recommendations for diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immunologic diseases as well as new research findings and how they will influence your practice.
WAC 2009 will proudly include more than 34 Sister Society Symposia from all over the world. As you go through this preliminary program, you will notice our effort in producing the most exciting program ever seen!
The World Allergy Organization (WAO) is really the only global allergy society, encompassing over 70 member societies from around the world. Founded in 1950, WAO offers more than 50 years of experience in working with allergists and allergy regional and national societies worldwide. In this way, the WAC is some kind of "United Nations Allergy Assembly".
Argentina is a breathtaking country with a diverse landscape and heritage. Buenos Aires is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and the cultural capital of South America. It’s a wonderful and exciting city, particularly in the beautiful springtime of the southern hemisphere.
