Headache: The Journal of Head and Face Pain, 03/09/2010
Markowitz SY et al. – Topiramate is an anticonvulsant medication that is widely used for migraine prophylaxis. Hypohidrosis and hyperthermia are 2 rare adverse effects of topiramate treatment, which have mainly occurred in pediatric epilepsy patients. Herein, the authors describe the first case of reversible hypohidrosis in an adult patient treated with topiramate for chronic migraine.
