Cerebral and Lower Limb Near-Infrared Spectroscopy in Adults on Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation
Artificial Organs, 08/10/2012
Wong JK et al. – Use of near–infrared spectroscopy with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation is important in detecting ischemic cerebral and peripheral vascular events. This allows for potential correction of the underlying process, thus preventing permanent ischemic damage.
