Grothoff M et al. – Absolute cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) quantification of the LV myocardial mass index (LV–MMI)non–compacted or the percentage LV–MMnon–compacted and increased trabeculation in basal segments allows one to reliably diagnose left ventricular non–compaction cardiomyopathy (LVNC) and to differentiate it from other cardiomyopathies.
