(-)-Epigallocatechin gallate inhibits endotoxin-induced expression of inflammatory cytokines in human cerebral microvascular endothelial cells
Journal of Neuroinflammation, 07/11/2012
Li J et al. – The results demonstrated that Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) induced inflammatory cytokine production in human cerebral microvascular endothelial cells (hCMECs), which could be attenuated by Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). These data indicate that EGCG has a therapeutic potential for endotoxin–mediated endothelial inflammation.
