Verleden SE et al. – The risk for lymphocytic bronchiolitis after lung transplantation increased with temporal changes in particulate air pollution, and this was associated with bronchoalveolar lavage neutrophilia and lymphocytosis. Azithromycin was protective against this particulate matter effect.
