Shah DN et al. – Authors conclude that patients with candidemia due to fluconazole–nonsusceptible Candida species were more likely to have received prior fluconazole therapy. Suboptimal initial dosing of prior fluconazole therapy was associated with candidemia with fluconazole–nonsusceptible Candida species.
