Lee HD et al. – It is suggested that traditional Chinese medicine herbal formulas could play an important role in preventing the progression of unilateral pleural effusion secondary to Congestive Heart Failure, in case of poor response to conservative treatment. Additional studies about the mechanism of action of the medication involved are warranted.
