Generalized Tikhonov regularization (GTR) in combination with a modified L–curve criterion is recommended for the deconvolution of dynamic contrast–enhanced magnetic resonance imaging curves measured in the lung parenchyma of patients with highly heterogeneous signal–to–noise ratios.
