Gursoy G et al. – The authors showed that in female obese hypertensive patients resistin levels were higher than in the non–obese patients. The authors also think that resistin may be associated to C–reactive protein levels but not to homocysteine or microalbuminuria in both non–obese and obese hypertensive patients.
