They have some docs that work in the OFFICE ONLY, some OFFICE, HOSP and NURSING HOMES, some just OFFICE AND HOSPITAL and some NURSING HOME ONLY. They are looking for someone who can help out with house calls and nursing homes (but you can certainly do office and hospital too). HOSPICE WORK IS AVAILABLE TOO!!! This is a physician-owned practice. It's an eclectic group of physicians and the group plays to each of their strengths. It's a very geriatric-centered practice as well. Their office is in a very affluent area. There is a partnership track (after a couple of years) and no buy-in. They offer the typical benefits: medical insurance, 401K with some matching, disability, etc... Call is divided between 3 areas (hospital, nursing homes and outpatient). Call is 1:4 or 1:5 and every 4th weekend. Call for nursing home is just call from home. # of patients you see is up to you....they have docs that make $100,000 and docs that make $200,000+ depending on how hard they work. You get a % of what you take in. Initially there is a draw and they reconcile every quarter.
