Chan CC et al. – Infectious endophthalmitis is a devastating complication that can occur after Boston Keratoprosthesis implantation even with prophylactic vancomycin, a fourth–generation fluoroquinolone, and a therapeutic contact lens. Fungal and gram–negative organisms are a growing cause for concern.
