The evaluation of putative endogenous control housekeeping genes for real-time polymerase chain reaction expression studies in Moraxella catarrhalis
Diagnostic Microbiology and Infectious Disease, 10/22/09
Hays JP – Comparisons of endogenous control genes in real–time polymerase chain reaction gene expression studies involving Moraxella catarrhalis are rare. This study shows that a combination of the iron sequestering gene copB and 16S rRNA genes would be useful for lineage 1 isolates, but not lineage 2 isolates.
