Hays JP – Comparisons of endogenous control genes in real–time polymerase chain reaction gene expression studies involving Moraxella catarrhalis are rare. This study shows that a combination of the iron sequestering gene copB and 16S rRNA genes would be useful for lineage 1 isolates, but not lineage 2 isolates.
