Goritsas C et al. – Multivariate regression analysis identified NT–proBNP levels as the most important predictor of unfavorable outcome. Patients with lower respiratory tract infection had the maximum increase in NT–proBNP levels and the most unfavorable outcome regarding other sites of infection.
