Uppuluri P et al. – Sessile C. albicans cells were resistant to fluconazole and amphotericin B, irrespective of the medium used to form the biofilms. However, caspofungin exhibited potent in vitro activity against both SU– and RPMI–grown C. albicans biofilms at therapeutic levels.
