Buijze GA et al. – A rare case of a 7–year–old boy with acute hematogenous osteomyelitis caused by Neisseria meningitidis serogroup C is presented. The diagnosis of osteomyelitis was made by bone scintigraphy and a blood culture confirmed meningococci as the cause of the disease.
