Erythema nodosum leprosum as the presenting feature in multibacillary leprosy
Dermatology Online Journal, 07/07/09
Prabhu S et al. - The authors report a case of a 32-year-old woman who had recurrent painful nodules of six months duration. Because of a lack of lesions suggestive of leprosy, she was initially diagnosed to have cutaneous vasculitis and erythema nodosum. However, because of the persistent nature of her condition she was later detected to have leprosy and erythema nodosum leprosum (ENL) with the aid of simple diagnostic tests.
