Pushker N et al. - Rhinosporidiosis is a chronic infection of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract. The authors report a case of primary lacrimal sac rhinosporidiosis with a grossly dilated sac and nasolacrimal duct as seen on CT dacryocystography. Despite a chronic infection of 12 years' duration, there was no involvement of conjunctiva, nasal, or nasopharyngeal mucosa.
